Canada

There is a two step approval process for Canada. First, service details must to be submitted to Fortumo containing the following: 

  • Business contact name
  • Business contact title/role
  • Company name
  • Company address
  • E-mail address
  • Phone number
  • Service website
  • Service description
  • Number of estimated monthly transactions
  • Number of estimated monthly revenue

Once this information has been submitted and reviewed by carriers, they will allocate each service a unique DID code.  

And this is it?

Unfortunately not. After the DID code has been attached, carriers will perform live test of the service in order to document the full service flow in the exact way it will be presented to end users once the service has been launched. That means no service in Canada will be approved before the integration is 100% finished. Service must be fully functional in Canada for Canadian users. Only then will the specific DID code be activated for production and service is technically capable of accepting payments.
